I am a 29-year safety professional with a passion for creating excellence. I have served as an internal troubleshooter for many of those years with some of the biggest and best organizations in the world. I had to walk away from much of what I learned about leadership and creating excellence from those organizations in order to be effective as a troubleshooter. The longer I served in my niche capacity, the more I understood that the skills to sustain excellence are different than the skills required to build excellence. I also understood that too many "leaders" within organizations could not distinguish between skills needed for sustaining versus building. That is why I decided to share my experiences and the wisdom I gained during this time.
