JOCKEY CLUB COMMUNITY EHEALTH CARE PROJECT

The population in Hong Kong is ageing, and the number of older people with chronic conditions will continue to grow. In this relation, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust has adopted a proactive approach to strengthen the support for senior citizens, and has earmarked over HK$510 million to carry out the "Jockey Club Community eHealth Care Project" ("the Project"). Launched in 2016, the Project adopts an innovative approach to promote preventive healthcare among the elderly and empower them in health management. It is the first city-wide elderly care support project which integrates digital health management technology, community care and professional support.
