GLOBALISATION

We believe that law plays an important role in realising the opportunities of globalisation - for example by facilitating access to goods and services, information, knowledge, education and care - as well as in addressing the threats globalisation poses for individuals and societies. Law must be part of the solution to challenges such as financial instability, globalisation of health risks, environmental impacts of growth in consumption, accelerating climate change and related migration... TEGL research project, a collaboration between the law faculties of Maastricht University, Open Universiteit NL, Tilburg University and the University of Amsterdam. Our network develops its impacts through three key approaches: creating high-profile international events, fostering research networks & cutting-edge publications... Transformative Effects of Globalisation in Law is a joint research effort by University Maastricht, Open Universiteit, Tilburg University, and Universiteit van Amsterdam.
