Alastair Craig

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Since transitioning away from his corporate career as an Operations/Project Manager Alastair has forged a 7-year career in Financial Markets firstly obtaining a Distinction in the Level 5 Professional Financial Trading Programme before going on to qualify as a Chartered Financial Technician (CFTe). Alastair specialises in short-term Commodity and Equity Index Futures as well as European Bond Markets. Alastair utilises price order flow, fundamental analysis and market profiling. Since joining the LAT Team, he continues to share his technical knowledge, helping others to realise their own goals whilst trading a private fund.

Carmine Anatriello

Job Titles:
  • SPECIALIST TUTOR
Carmine has a degree in Economics from the Chartered Institute for Security and Investment and mini-MBA. He has been working in the trading and investment industry since 2008 and has developed his own philosophy and trading strategies based on market volume and order flow analysis. Carmine is a Business Development Manager and independent trader who has joined the LAT academic team as a Specialist Tutor to deliver our Volume and Order Flow Analysis course to help individuals develop their trading skills and reach their own economic independence.

Elliot Gore

Whilst already having several years of trading experience, Elliot decided to take a pro-active step towards furthering is career as a trader by completing the Level 5 Diploma Programme with LAT, achieving a distinction grade. Whilst levering the world of proprietary trading firms, Elliot solely trades European equity indexes including the DAX. Using a combination of technical and fundamental analysis as well as cross asset correlation, Elliot looks for short term, intraday trading opportunities throughout his chosen assets. Using a range of technical indicators including Volume Profiles, Market Profiles and On balance Volume.

Jason Shelley

Job Titles:
  • SPECIALIST TUTOR
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant I worked in the financial industry for 20 years, initially in early-stage private equity before moving into the hedge fund sector, where I invested into hedge funds on behalf of family offices and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. I subsequently launched an equity long/short hedge fund and spent over four years at BNP Paribas in their Prime Services division. Since establishing my own Wealth Management (WM) practice within St. James's Place, I now work with LAT to deliver a Specialised Programme in WM.

Kristina Kostova

Having completed her bachelor's degree in Business and Economics, Kristina gained experience within the Sales and Client Relations fields. Ultimately, Kristina's passion was Financial Markets and so, after gaining a Level 5 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading, she now trades and manages a successful Private Fund and has an integral role within the LAT Team, through her Administrative and Student Liaison positions.

Marc Gibson-McKenna

Since pursuing a career in the world of trading 6 years ago, Marc made the jump to LAT, achieving a distinction in our level 5 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading, before going on to qualify as a Chartered Financial Technician (CFTe). Marc predominantly trades short-term equity indexes and bond futures. Marc utilises a combination of Technical and Fundamental analysis, with a strong focus on Cross Asset correlations and Volume Profiles. In combination with trading his own private fund, he continues to share his knowledge and experience with students. His knowledge and passion for trading are ever present in the research and analysis that he provides on a daily basis for LAT's students, both past and present.

Marcel Schouten

Marcel has been investing and trading in financial markets for 15 years. He has degrees in Physiotherapy and Sport Science (PG), which he used to establish a Healthcare franchise, developing healthcare centres in Financial Institutions in the Netherlands. This involvement with financial institutions inspired him to focus more on his trading and investing activities, and he sold his business in order to successfully manage a diverse investment portfolio and private fund. Marcel achieved a Distinction in the Level 5 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading in 2017, and he joined the LAT Team in 2019 to share his investment and trading knowledge, and to help new LAT students to achieve their personal goals.

Paddy Osborn

Paddy brings more than 30 years of financial markets experience to LAT, and has been Academic Dean since 2011. After graduating from Reading University, Paddy traded Japanese Warrants & Convertible Bonds before joining TraderMade, providing financial software and data to global banks. Since 2006 he has provided analysis and education for several financial institutions including HSBC, CALYON, Morgan Stanley, Nordea Markets, LIFFE and LSE. In addition to his work at LAT, Paddy lectures at UK Business Schools in Financial Trading for MSc students, and provides financial articles to media outlets.
