In 2014, L4T introduced our Family Hui positive parenting program in Tanzania to through a pilot project in Dar es Salaam and Mara region. After conducting focus groups to assess interest and to modify materials to address cultural norms while retaining Family Hui's foundational mindful positive parenting concepts. Since launching, the program has received significant and positive evaluations from participants. The greatest challenge is addressing resource-related needs for participating families. L4T is now in discussions with several partners to grow our ability to provide micro-enterprise support, allowing families to overcome limitations in nutrition and income to develop the nurturing environment they seek...
