Joseph Dowdy - Founder

Before moving to Lompoc in 2009, Joseph worked for the Santa Monica College Small Business Development Center coaching entrepreneurs in business operations and marketing. Joseph is a Marine Corps veteran and served as a combat correspondent during Operation Desert Shield and Storm. He was trained by the prestigious joint-service Defense Information School in broadcast journalism, radio and television, internal and external communications and community relations. Since that time, Joseph has owned a newspaper, produced a documentary that is a part of the permanent collection in the Smithsonian Institute and produced/directed videos for several Fortune 50 companies including Verizon, FMC and Toyota. Since 2009, Joseph has created and hosted over 200 websites under the banner Electronic Word of Mouth, a division of his e-learning and kiosk development company called Beachhead Communications. Joseph is a member of the Lompoc Economic Development Committee as of 2018 and, for the record, has no intentions of seeking political office. He believes that the Lompoc IBA is key to revitalizing Lompoc and that is why he is behind it.

Tim Harrington - Founder

Tim is a management consultant to businesses from 1 to 500 employees in Santa Barbara County since 1999 under the banner TerraLink Consulting for which he is the principal owner. With an MBA from Golden Gate University, Tim worked for 17 years with the Los Angeles Regional Small Business Development Center and previously worked for 17 years in the aerospace industry in Santa Barbara County for Raytheon and Hughes. Tim served as a past board member and board chairman for the Lompoc Chamber of Commerce and continues to serve on the boards of Lompoc Unified School District, Hancock College Foundation, FoodBank of Santa Barbara County as treasurer, Lompoc Family YMCA and Boards for a Cause.

Victor Jordan - Founder

Born in Cambridge England, Victor came to the United States in 1964 and attended schools in Santa Barbara County, California. Victor began a career in art working for the Space & Missile Center at Vandenberg Air Force Base in 1971 as an illustrator before the age of the computer. In 1973, he traveled the country making music and art, ending up in Orlando, Florida playing drums and singing. Resettling in Southern California, he used hand-made and computer graphics to make illustrations for magazines such as Modern Bodybuilding, Muscle & Fitness, Time, and Flex as well as for entertainment giants such as Warner Brothers and Walt Disney among others. Victor is an accomplished fine artist painting portraits and other works of art over 30 years for the Hollywood elite including Michael Jackson Productions, David Hasselhoff among many others. His fine art works have been published by such as publishers such as Art Hang-ups, Burnett Enterprises and World Wide Galleries.
