Neil Davies is an expert in resolving the practical and theoretical challenges of large scale distributed and high-performance computing. Throughout his 20-year career at the University of Bristol he collaborated with on issues relating to scalable performance and operational safety. He was also technical lead on several large EU Framework collaborations relating to high performance switching. He mentors PhD candidates at CERN working on the ATLAS experiment. He co-founded Degree2 Innovations in 2000, commercialising network QoS research, and went on to found Predictable Network Solutions in 2003 where he has continued to make fundamental breakthroughs in the mathematics and practical exploitation of packet networks. He is the co-author of several patent families.

Kelly Fitzsimmons

Kelly Fitzsimmons is a serial tech entrepreneur with a passion for voice. She has founded five startups - her earliest four in information security and her latest, HarQen, an Intelligent Voice Services company for which she serves as a member of the board of directors. In November 2012, Kelly co-founded the Hypervoice Consortium because she felt that the key to understanding next generation voice is answering the question, "Why is voice missing from the Web in a meaningful and persistent way?" As a leading advocate for the emerging Hypervoice framework, Kelly will support the consortium's mission of articulating and advancing standards, capabilities and potential applications for Hypervoice. Kelly received her BA from the University of Rochester and a Masters degree from Harvard.
