Nicholas Lau

Through his eighteen years of tennis experience, Nicholas has established a track record of high achievement. Nicholas performed at an exceptionally high level from a young age, competing at provincial, national, and international tournaments. After a successful junior career, Nicholas transitioned to becoming a student-athlete playing varsity tennis at the University of Toronto. He also excelled as an academic, graduating with honours from the highly competitive U of T finance program. As a coach, Nicholas has worked with hundreds of students at Angus Glen Tennis Centre, University of Toronto Scarborough Tennis Centre, and Armadale Tennis Club. He is fully certified by the Tennis Professional's Association of Canada and has seven years of coaching experience. Nicholas speaks fluent English and Cantonese. This allows him to pass on his expertise to an even greater demographic. Nicholas' fun, high-energy approach to coaching tennis has been loved universally by students of all ages alike. His years of quality coaching experience combined with his high playing level give him the ability to help students of all abilities push their game to the next level. Nicholas' incredibly high standards are not only seen in his lessons but throughout the entire MTA program.

Tyler Panhuyzen

Tyler holds Tennis Canada's Club Professional 2 certification, an accolade less than 9% of active coaches in Canada have. Furthermore, when Tyler completed his CP2 at 20 years of age, he was the youngest to hold it at the time. Tyler is committed to bringing a culture of excellence and integrity to MTA and ensuring students of all ages and levels get the absolute most value from our programs.
