Dr. Sussan Ononaku DNP, FNP-BC. PMHNP-BC is a Board-Certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with more than 33yrs of clinical experience in healthcare. She completed her bachelors and masters degrees in nursing at Bowie State University, specializing in family medicine, board certified by the nationally recognized American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She proceeded to Chamberlin University where she earned a doctorate degree in Advanced Practice Nurse Leadership. Due to her passion with mental health treatments, she proceeded to Brandman University and currently board certified in psychiatry. she's had numerous opportunities working in varied healthcare settings both in inpatient and out patient settings. She provides evidenced-based health assessments, diagnoses and treatments of chronic and acute healthcare issues.
