MEFISTO

MEFISTO is a numerical earthquake simulator that incorporates mineral precipitation and fluid-flow. The model is run in MATLAB and is aimed at improving our understanding of the behavior of subduction zones... MEFISTO, the Mineralization, Earthquake, and Fluid-flow Integrated SimulaTOr, is a MATLAB-based numerical earthquake simulator aimed at improving our understanding of the dynamics of subduction zones. It is soon to be made freely available (anticipated release in August 2020).
