Michelle Green

Michelle Green has more than 20 years of experience in recruitment and business partnering. Her human resources management philosophy is that all companies, both large and small, must improve employee engagement and retention if they are to increase their financial performance, minimize risks and achieve overall operational excellence. Michelle's ability to merge a company's most valuable asset, its people, along with its business strategy, has earned her accolades from leaders in Top 500 firms like ARUP, Pearson Education, New York Life Insurance, Experian, Citi-Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley, and much more. A subject matter expert for SCORE NYC, the nation's largest network of volunteer business experts, Michelle is well versed in many areas of the human resources journey. That includes succession planning, leadership development, organizational culture, employee engagement, and inclusion. Using a holistic approach that includes equity, diversity, and inclusion is a critical part of Michelle's consultancy work with small and mid-sized businesses. Her speed in assessing business problems and her practical solutions have enabled clients in industries as diversified as healthcare, financial services, digital marketing, insurance, educational services, engineering, and travel to establish a solid foundation that ensures the business can thrive in the near and distant future. As the owner of a travel consultancy/employee perks travel service, Michelle knows all too well the challenges of wearing multiple hats while managing the daily operation of a business, overseeing business development, as well as people management. Michelle is also a mentor with Streetwise Partners, a workforce mentoring program, and to HR professionals in the New York chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR-GNY). She currently serves on its Board of Directors. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in business administration, with a double major in marketing and management.
