Dr. Robert Lytton earned his bachelor, master and doctoral degrees at the University of Texas. He is a member of the faculty at Texas A&M University where he holds the Fred J. Benson Chair in Civil Engineering. He is recognized internationally for his landmark contributions to the highly specialized fields of expansive clay soils and pavement analysis.
Mr. Jay Conner received his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in 1982. His outstanding commitment to quality has defined the standard for customer service in the residential and light commercial building industries and been infused into the entire staff of the company.
Judge Jim Powers is a successful entrepreneur and former Hays County Judge, with experience in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Powers also sits on the board of the Pedernales Electrical Cooperative.

A graduate of the University of Texas, Mr. Matthew (Matty) Weston started with MLA Geotechnical in 2002 and has worked in every department for the company. He currently heads all laboratory and field operations for the firm.
With a bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and master's degree from the University of Texas, Mr. Tim Weston joined MLA Geotechnical in 1996. He provides the day-to-day project management and technical supervision of all engineering projects. His experience with the local conditions makes Mr. Weston a much sought-after expert for forensic engineering investigations.
