Silvio Ferreri is an orthodontist at the Department of Dental medicine of the University clinical hospital center Rijeka. Being also an assistant professor at the Department of Orthodontics - Study of Dental medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rijeka, Croatia, he is involved in the education of undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is the owner and director of a private health care trading company for orthodontics and dental medicine located in Rijeka and co-founder, vice-president and executive board member of the Croatian Society of Orthodontics. Silvio Ferreri has been the president and organization board member of four international congresses and four international symposiums, as well as a promoter and coordinator of the interdisciplinary section Airway, Breathing and Orthodontics - Interdisciplinary Approach at the 3 rd International Congress of the Croatian Society of Orthodontics. He is a former editorial board member of the South European Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Research. As a national and international lecturer he held his first lecture about breathing and OSA topics in 1997. He is a co-author of 4 textbooks and many articles published in international and national peer reviewed journals as well as a member of several national and international orthodontic societies.
