He completed his secondary and high school in TED Ankara's college. In 1969, he graduated from the faculty of dentistry, University of Istanbul. In 1973, he took the orthodontia doctorate diploma from the faculty of dentistry, University of Ankara. Between 1973 and 1974, he was assistant professor at U.S.A presidency department in University of Atatürk, Erzurum-Turkey. Between 1975 and 1982, he was assistant professor at U.S.A presidency department the faculty of dentistry at University of Marmara. In 1982, he became an associate professor doctor and he continued his duty at the same university. In 1986, he left Marmara University and since then he pursues his profession as free orthodontist at his clinic.
