Pool Skimmers was founded by Scott and Leah Curl as they both decided to take a different direction in their careers. Scott, a Mechanical Engineer by trade, enjoyed spending his free time relaxing by his backyard pool. He had worked in the oil and gas sector for 30+ years. He knew retirement wasn't that far away, but he wanted a business or second career once he retired. Leah worked for the Department of Homeland Security as a Transportation Security Inspector at several major locations around the United States. Leah was part of the initial DHS Team that was formed after 9/11. After researching many different industries and businesses, they decided to start a unique pool service company specializing in the chemical balancing and treatment of residential swimming pools.
