Our founder, Tom McCullough, started his consulting career as Consulting Manager for one of the then Big-8 Accounting firms. He lead several large scale enterprise projects, but he was always frustrated because he was measured by how busy he kept his bench of consultants. He was compelled to assign bench consultants to projects (at high dollar billing rates) even if their skill set didn't fit the client projects needs. He was frustrated because he often found himself charging clients high rates for low quality resources justified only by the Big-8 name. Tom knew that he could find better qualified resources at much lower rates that could better serve his clients at a much lower cost and Resource Advantage Inc. was born. On one of RAI's early projects the low bid by a Big-8 was $24 million with a 3-year delivery date. RAI Bid $24 million but with a 2 year delivery date. The project was delivered on time and on budget saving the client millions by having the application a year earlier. This was accomplished by using expert resources instead of green MBA's off the bench. Thomas (Tom) McCullough, the company's senior Program Manager and founder comes from a Big 8 Accounting background and was the lead Project Manager on several successful enterprise level Microsoft 365 migrations.
