Moving Mountains chose several tracks to reinterpret acoustically. The small type, minimal cover art, and textural printing style compliments the simple nature of the songs. The final art was printed on recycled paper and the square on the cover was embossed... The overall direction called for visuals that felt somewhere between David Lynch and death metal. The disc design found its way on to the Archillect visual blog... Deftones are one of my favorite bands so and it was really exciting to have the opportunity to create a few merchandise designs for them. I chose a couple of my photographs that felt ominous and haunting; like their music.
