SCI-OMICS LAB

In addition to workshops, Sci-Omics Lab offers workplace hours for students to sign up and bring their own data for analysis (BYOP: bring your own project). A trained peer mentor holds office hours and offers one-on-one or small group mentorship support on how to apply our developed workflows on each student's unique dataset and project... Sci-Omics Lab provides resource development and hands-on training for students at the interface of biological omics (transcriptomics, proteomics, etc) and computer science. It brings together students pursuing traditional degrees both in computational and experimental disciplines. Students pursuing data-rich experimental research can gain practical skills for analyzing the big data that they generate whereas students pursuing computational research can mentor, learn, understand and contribute to solving problems in real life biological problems...
