We take compliance with regulations seriously to ensure this is a multi-year project that won't be shut down or subject to overly harsh penalties. We need to be doubly cautious with our approach as SatoshiStreetBets already has the spotlight shone brightly on it and by extension SatoshiSwap isn't a random, small project that can operate below-the-radar. Even with SatoshiSwap being a clear utility token with autonomous governance features baked-in, the SEC has made it clear they will pursue the founders of projects that are seen to have raised funds in a way that breaks their legal minefield of rules. Therefore we have a KYC and AML program as part of the whitelist process and will be unable to whitelist potential participants from "high-risk" countries.
