SECURITY ON THE MOVE - Key Persons

Abdirahman Edle is currently a researcher working with PRIO on the Refugee Education: Building Durable Futures (REBuilD) project. He was the Project Coordinator of the South West Livestock Professional Association (SOWELPA) based in Southern Somalia. He has over 15 years of work experience in the field of Development and Project Management. He holds an MSc Development Studies from Jomo Kenyatta University and a BA in Political Science & Sociology from University of Nairobi, Kenya. UN-Habitat has joined this project under DGSi leadership to build the body of knowledge on durable urban solutions and to facilitate practical research on the ground through their presence in Somalia. The research in Somalia is conducted by SOWELPA, under the lead of Abdirahman Edle.
