Russ Philips

Russ Phillips founded Service First Consulting in 2000. Over the last 19 years, he has worked with large cultural institutions in the DC area as well as small nonprofits across America. He was a featured speaker at the 2017 Tableau Conference. Russ has an Aerospace Engineering degree from Virginia Tech and an MBA from George Mason University. He was a cheerleader for VT, GMU and the Baltimore Ravens and went to the 1999 Super Bowl. In his free time he follows the Nats and Caps, plays golf, cycles and vacations with his family. He is thrilled that the Nats won a World Series in his lifetime!

Scott Darr

Scott Darr is a CPA and has close to 30 years of financial experience. For the past 20 years, he has implemented and supported PeopleSoft financials serving in a lead capacity on both implementation and upgrade projects. He has functional experience with PeopleSoft General Ledger, Payables, Procurement, Commitment Control, Receivables and Billing modules. Mr. Darr also has experience implementing and supporting Oracle Financials and Kronos webTA. In his spare time, he is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling.

Shadi McPherson

Shadi McPherson has spent more than 20 years working for small and medium start-up ventures in the Washington DC area. As a project and product manager at Service First, Shadi has specialized in assisting clients in determining their needs and helping them to achieve those business goals with software. In her free time, Shadi enjoys reading and spending time with her 3 children and 2 dogs.
