Claudia Massei is the Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Oman. Claudia assumed her current role on April 1, 2018 after five years of working with Siemens in several Western European countries and China. Originally from Brazil, Claudia majored in Aeronautical Engineering and commenced her career in a consultant role for different industries preparing her for entrepreneurship. In 2011, she created her own educational technology company which she ran for several years. Having lived and worked in Brazil, U.S. France, and South Africa, Massei started with Siemens in Munich, Germany, as part of the CEO Excellence Program. Assuming three international assignments, she worked her way up to become Regional Sales Manager, leading sales activities of rail automation systems for public transportation in eight Western European countries, all African countries and China. Prior to working with Siemens, Massei held several volunteer positions, being acting Member of Board of Directors of a Cameroonian NGO, and part of the United Nations Online Volunteer program. Claudia Massei has visited more than 40 countries, holds an interest in aviation and has a license for flying a single-engine airplane.
