Bill is the owner of Impact Sand and Gravel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The mission of the company is to "Positively Impact our customers, team members, and community." Bill grew up in Henderson, Nevada and after attending Basic High School he enlisted in the US Army. He served as a private in a Combat Engineer Battalion until he was selected to attend the US Military Academy at West Point, NY. He graduated from West Point in 1981 after which he was a platoon leader, aide-de-camp for a general and a company commander.
Bill is the true "rags to riches" story; having grown up in poverty and homelessness. He constantly speaks of God's grace and abundant love. Bill has a passion for IMPACTing people in gratitude for his blessings. As a business owner and a leader, Bill has developed an arsenal of tools and systems to make a lasting IMPACT on his employees, customers, and the community.
Bill Mulligan is the Vice President of Impact Companies where he has worked for over 16 years; focusing mostly on mining/crushing operations, land development, business services and equipment. While working for Impact, he started a 2nd chance program; helping over 80 individuals who were either homeless and/or just out of prison start a new life - providing them employment, a place to live and assisting them in creating new goals in their lives. Bill's top 3 priorities in life are; God, family and work.
Bill has had a full and diverse career. Before coming to Impact Companies, he worked in the Food & Beverage/Hospitality industry for over 20 years. Starting as a dishwasher, he worked his way up through leadership running nightclubs, restaurants, banquet operations and finishing up as a Director of Food and Beverage. Over that time, he worked for Marriot hotels, MGM/Mirage Corp and Bobby McGee's restaurants.
Bill and his wife Nancy have been married for 20 years. They met at Willow Creek Church in Chicago 20 years ago. They have two wonderful kids: Jake and Katie. Though Nancy has MS, she works with special needs kids in the Clark County School district.
Bill has attended Central Christian church for over 19 years, where he serves on the welcome team and leads a small group. His dreams for Capstone Christian Academy is to see God work and develop young people, to see how an old mining company/quarry, can be used to serve God and families!
Chuck Ley has lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for 17 years with his wife of 39 years. He has two daughters. One daughter and family lives in Montana and one daughter and family lives in Pennsylvania.
Chuck graduated from Northwest Christian College in Eugene, Oregon with a degree in Christian Education and a concentration in Youth Ministries. Chuck then moved to the Silicon Valley in California where he was the COO and Worldwide Executive VP of Sales in various high-tech companies. After moving in 2003 to Las Vegas, Chuck Ley formed Cornerstone Merchant Services in 2004 and is the President of this independently licensed merchant card provider. Cornerstone's mission statement: To provide the best services to our clients with INTEGRITY, setting ourselves apart from others in our industry.
In his spare time, Chuck volunteers working with various nonprofit organizations throughout the community including being the Executive Vice President of Helping Hands of Vegas Valley for senior citizens, The Wounded Blue Foundation for support of wounded police officers, and a member of the Southern Nevada Officials Association where he has been refereeing various youth athletic programs and events.

Mark Whelchel served as pastor in Las Vegas Valley for over 30 years. He provided oversight for Central Christian's preschool and kindergarten for over 10 years, and he is now the Director of Counseling at the Renewing Life Center, a non-profit Christian counseling center serving Southern Nevada. Mark's educational background includes a B.A. in church ministry from Hope International University in Fullerton CA, and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and he has a passion for working with marriages and individuals and seeing lives transformed. Mark and his wife Christie have been married for 30+ years and they have been blessed with four children.
His dream for Capstone Christian Academy is that it becomes the premier Christian academy in Southern Nevada, preparing students from all backgrounds to make a profound difference in their world through their life and work.
