Barbara is a talented Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in Nursing and over 10 years experience as a licensed massage therapist. She provides a unique multidiscipline approach to pain relief; including specific muscle and joint injections, a unique treatment approach to Migraine headaches as well as medical weight loss. Barbara's background in a ‘hands on' approach to soft tissue and massage enables her to be a unique medical provider when it comes to assessing and treating muscle and joint pain. Barbara integrates her care alongside our Physical Therapy providers. This provides our patients with the excellent care they deserve.
Dr. Johnson worked as clinical instructor to University of Delaware students. She has provided in-person services in outpatient orthopedic setting, treating a variety of cases such as: Achilles' tendinopathy, total knee arthroplasties, dementia, stroke, cerebral palsy, plantar fasciitis, low back and cervical radiculopathy, shoulder impingement and worker's compensation and auto injuries. She enjoys working with patients from all ages ranges and looks forward to seeing you in the office
