Bianca Ciebrant, is the Program Director at the Blind Children's Center. She has been with the Center since 2007 having served as Assistant Director of Education, Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Specialist, and Coach.
Bianca has worked in the field of child development for over 25 years. She has been in early education classrooms as an assistant, lead teacher, supervisor, and O&M specialist. After gaining a strong foundation in early childhood, she began working with children with visual impairments and special needs in 2005. She has helped develop an inclusive program focusing on social interactions and play-based learning. She has assisted in parent education, providing clinics and workshops for BCC's parent groups.
Bianca has a BA in Child Development and an MA in Special Education with an emphasis in Orientation and Mobility. She has presented at various conferences and clinics, including NAEYC and CA-LEND, on topics covering child development, vision, and sensory needs of children with visual impairments. She has been a master teacher and a field instructor for Cal State LA's O&M graduate program.

Sarah E. Orth, MPA. With 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Mrs. Orth has dedicated most of her career to agencies focused on early childhood development, and services for children with special needs and/or chronic illnesses. Before joining the Blind Children's Center, Mrs. Orth served as an Executive Director with Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southern California where she provided leadership for two programs, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times® and the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House. Prior to that, she served as Development Director for Families Forward Learning Center in Pasadena where she spearheaded the agency's capital campaign and strategic development.
Mrs. Orth holds a BA from Fordham University, and a Master's in Public Administration from CA State University, Northridge. She has taught the Capital Campaign class at UCLA's extension program and has presented at numerous conferences throughout her career. Active in the community, she currently serves on the governing boards of California Agencies for the Blind & Visually Impaired-CAABVI (Secretary), and the Center for Collective Wisdom (President).
