Since 2018, SWMP has been working to improve workforce development across Southwest Wyoming by bringing together public and private sector leaders to support growing industries, build business, and connect people with better jobs... On October 4, 2018, manufacturing industry leaders representing a cross-section of the industry from Southwest Wyoming came together to identify opportunities and actions needed to promote the growth of the sector. In addition, community partners from workforce development, education, and economic development attended as sector support partners. This partnership is modeled after similar partnerships across the country that are achieving real results for businesses, job seekers, regional economies, and education...
