Now a veteran of the industry, Andy kicked off his career in intruder manufacturer sales all the way back in 1984 before setting his sights on the world of distribution, specialising in external detection, access control, fire, and event-driven CCTV.
The bald-headed Bristolian draws from his career-spanning experience to offer bespoke system design and site surveying to installers and systems integrators, supporting local distributors and national account managers across the UK & Ireland.
Our resident linguist, Cedric is French speaking (but don't hold that against him) and fluent in Spanish and English languages.
With 6 years of industry experience spanning both distributor and manufacturer, Cedric takes care of our customer base throughout Western Europe, Nordics and the Middle East.
Dan is the Swiss Army knife of the TAKEX toolkit, but with soft rounded corners rather than sharp pointy edges. He joined us way back in 2006 and has become an accomplished multi-role member of the TAKEX team.
Responsible for all aspects of marketing and design across EMEA, Dan also manages our Industrial sales business and provides support for the wider sales team.
Diana is the newest addition to the team, responsible for designing and implementing global marketing strategies. Multi-disciplined and bilingual, she brings an innate curiosity to the TAKEX team.
With a background in journalism and media, Diana will be producing digital content in the form of long-form articles, videos, and graphic design.
John has been with us since 2014. A time-served electrician specialised in fire and security, his career has seen him take on roles as diverse as regional installations manager at Chubb, National Account Manager at ADT, and Sales Manager at Chubb.
He brings 40 years of industry experience from a technical, sales and management background, responsible for our sales operation across EMEA and supporting our sales team and distributor network.
...he's also our resident technical guru; if you need help on the tools John's your guy.
Meet Mark, new for 2024 and our resident coffee king. He speaks Afrikaans and English like a champ, with a career in security spanning back to 2000.
From installing and maintaining critical sites, before heading off to product management in CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection, he's tackled it all.
That's 23 years of industry experience across systems integrators, distributors and manufacturers. Specialising in system design, marketing and sales support, product management, and customer service, Mark will be supporting local distributors and system integrators throughout South Africa.
Mike has been making teas & coffees at TAKEX for over 20 years, and has become a name synonymous in EMEA with the TAKEX brand.
Mr Shinsaku Takenaka received a National Medal of Honor with Yellow Ribbon for his achievement of R & D of Sensor Technology.
