Jack Ellis

Jack has been working in Alternative Dispute Resolution for the past 15 ye ars. He has extensive experience mediating family and commercial disputes. He has been a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) for the past 15 years. He teaches on the Alternative Dispute Resolution programs at Macquarie University (Sydney) and Western Sydney University. He is also a regular trainer and coach on the Mediation programs at the NSW College of Law, and he was the Lead Trainer on the Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution for Relationships Australia for many years. Jack won Family Mediator (FDRP) of the year at the Australian Disputes Centre Awards 2022. He is a Nationally Accredited Mediator (NMAS), and an experienced NMAS Assessor. As a registered FDRP, he is able to issue section 60I certificates as required. Jack's solution-focussed approach to Dispute Resolution aims to help parties to reach practical agreements that preserve important relationships and remove the stress of conflict. Julia Brierley

A specialist in Family Mediation, Julia is committed to providing a confidential, compassionate and child centred approach to resolving family disputes. Julia has combined an international career in the corporate sector with further studies in dispute resolution, psychology and child development. As a registered FDRP and relationship counsellor, she has many years experience working with families going through separation and divorce, including managing complex cases at Family Relationship Centres. An accredited trainer, Julia has run seminars and workshops for a range of organisations including the Commission for Children and Young People; Fairfax Media; Commonwealth Bank; KPMG and South Sydney Rugby League Club. She is also a Coach and Assessor for NMAS mediator accreditation with the College of Law and the Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution with the Australian Institute of Relationship Studies.

Kerry Gottlieb

Kerry is a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and Nationally-Accredited Mediator. She specialises in Family Mediation. Her child-centred approach to dispute resolution is focussed on helping parents to maintain their parental alliance after separation so that families can move forward in a positive and constructive manner. Kerry is a lawyer, admitted to practice in Australia and South Africa. She has worked at leading law firms in both countries and has lectured at the University of New South Wales. She is also a qualified Trainer and Assessor and has worked as a trainer in the corporate sector. Kerry's experience as a lawyer means she is well placed to assist families to finalise property settlements as well as parenting arrangements.
