ULTRAMARINO

Ultramarino was started in 2020 by Co-founders Casey Ramar and Marco Pinarelli during a transition from Beirut, Lebanon, to the remote coastal area of Eressos in Lesvos, Greece. Since then we operate as a workers' co-operative, meaning that the projects are non-hierarchically managed by the members of the collective. Which sounds a bit funny at the moment considering that we are only two... So let's say at the moment we are a very small collective... Ultramarino is a co-operative focused on social design and visual propaganda. Its work is based on the skills of its two founding members (below). Our goal is to create and support progressive projects that aim to improve the conditions of the natural and human environment.
