VIRGINIA TELEMENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVE (VTMHI)

The Virginia Telemental Health Initiative (VTMHI) is a 501c3 nonprofit and first-of-its-kind statewide virtual free mental health clinic. We provide telemental health services to un- and under-insured patients by collaborating with Virginia's free and charitable clinics and pre-licensed mental health providers in the process of completing licensure... Our mission is twofold: to expand access to mental health services for ALL Virginians in need, and to fortify the mental health workforce by dismantling barriers to licensure. We strive to create a future where mental health is accessible, inclusive, and supported by a diverse workforce... As VTMHI expands to reach more patients through Virginia's participating free and charitable clinics, we're calling on Virginia's licensed and experienced mental health providers to help us build supports for both Virginians in need of accessible care AND Virginia's next generation of LPCs, LSWs, LCSWs, LMHCs, LMFTs, and beyond.
