VoltH2 was founded in 2020 by the Belgian-Dutch sustainable entrepreneur André Jurres. A team of ten experts has been working since 2021... Bergen-op-Zoom, the Netherlands, June 21, 2022 - Green hydrogen developer VoltH2 is selling a majority stake to Virya Energy and DIF Capital Partners. The two new shareholders, both active in green energy production, innovation and sustainable investments, are bringing additional capital and expertise to VoltH2 to accelerate the development of European green hydrogen production capacity... Today, hydrogen is still largely produced from methane (CH4), which is accompanied by high CO2 emissions. VoltH2 wants to change that by producing green hydrogen at various locations in Europe. We are currently hard at work developing our first three green hydrogen plants in Vlissingen, Terneuzen and Delfzijl.
