CONSTRUCTION Q - Key Persons
Danny is one of our Trainee Quantity Surveyors, attending the University of Central Lancaster and studying Quantity Surveying on the 5-year degree apprenticeship scheme. Danny currently shadows and assists on a range of projects, with a particular focus on CostX and Estimating.
Danny splits his spare time between playing lacrosse for club and country and is representing Great Britain in the Summer 2022 World Championships. Being a huge Manchester United supporter, he usually keeps quiet on a Monday morning!
For the record… 25 years working for some of the biggest and best names in the construction industry and a successful and respected Quantity Surveying consultancy tells its own story. Educated at Loughborough University, Fiona graduated with a first class honours degree in Commercial Management & Quantity Surveying. As an MRICS Surveyor and an Assessor for the RICS Fiona loves nothing more than educating others and often lectures on Quantity Surveying at several local Universities.
Responsible for Business Development, Fiona loves meeting new clients but still has involvement with the Dispute Resolution side of our business and the day to day running of several of our luxury homes schemes. Fiona is also an RICS accredited Expert Witness. Fiona is married to Joe and has two teenage sons. All avid football fans (the blue half of the City) even the family dog is named after the little magician himself - Silva!
Stephen became an equal shareholder in Construction Q in 2018 and has been responsible for a significant period of growth in turnover over the last 18 months. As an experienced Commercial Director with over 30 years of experience within the built environment, Steve has an ability to deliver exceptional results in several challenging business roles and sectors.
Currently studying Quantity Surveying at UCLAN alongside Danny, Thomas is a first year student who joined the team in 2022. With a keen head for numbers Thomas is enjoying the course (and the competition with Danny when it comes to assessments!)
In his spare time Thomas enjoys swimming & football (the red side of Manchester), and joins many of the other CQ staff in his love of dogs. Tom loves training his German Shorthaired Pointer (Lincoln) demonstrating you can teach an old dog new tricks!
Tracey is a highly self-motivated, committed individual, with a positive outlook who enjoys dealing with complex situations and creating innovative solutions. She has a track record of delivering to extremely tight deadlines and working well under pressure. Her negotiating skills are second to none showcasing her ability to bring disparate teams together.
