FEEDING DEVON

Feeding Devon is a passionate and dedicated network of more than 30 organisations - including food banks, food aid charities, community groups and voluntary organisations - committed to ending hunger in their local communities. The pilot aims to improve food crisis support across the region, ensuring that no child goes hungry and that no household - whether a family or a vulnerable individual - has to choose between ‘Heat or Eat'. We will work to increase awareness amongst decision-makers about the root causes of hunger, whilst tackling these issues in our communities and creating a ‘Pathways' programme of support for those in need. Food insecurity is the tip of the iceberg, and we aim to reach out to support and assist those who are struggling to provide for themselves and their loved ones. - Stella & Rachel...
