Our ambition is to create a space where people can enjoy exclusive drinks and Andalusian soulful food. We want to create an authentic, relaxed atmosphere that invites sharing experiences and promotes cultural activities... We're an independent tapas bar bringing you the authentic flavours of Southern Spain. We first opened our doors in 2019, tucked away under the Mancunian Way in Hatch and are known as the smallest tapas bar in Manchester. This January, we moved out of our two tiny shipping containers to focus on building our new permanent venue in Chorlton... Abeja (‘Ah-bay-ha') means bee in Spanish and represents the connection we want to create between Manchester and Spain. We've established direct relationships with many independent artisans in Granada which enabled us to bring to you only the tastiest and truly authentic produce of southern Spain you won't find anywhere else.
