Andy Landers

Andy Landers leads Arena Technologies corporate-wide focus on providing strategic planning and management support to Arena's customers. Andy and his team deliver enterprise-level Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance, including architecture analysis and development, policy and process development and execution, and program/project oversight and management support. Andy joined the Arena Team in 2013 to provide support to Arena customers' in the transition management and planning for the Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise (IC ITE). Prior to Arena, Andy has provided support to numerous customers with a focus on enterprise architecture, strategic planning and road mapping, and information sharing policy, process, and technology. Andy's contributions in these areas has helped his customers achieve significant goals and objectives in the areas of information integration and sharing. Andy received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Art Dent

Art Dent serves as a Manager and Systems Engineering Technical Advisor in the customer's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), Integrated Intelligence Special Program Office (I2SPO). Art is responsible for contract and technical oversight of Maritime Domain Awareness contracts for the U.S. Govt customer, supporting Agile teams in development of analytical software solutions that directly support IC, DoD, DHS, and Partners. Art received Arena's Roosevelt Award in 2019 for outstanding service commitment and currently serves on Arena's leadership team. Art is a retired Naval Officer with service at-Sea, and in department head roles and Program management roles ashore while serving at the Naval Integrated Warfare System Center, San Diego, CA. Prior to retiring in 2018, he served as a Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) for data distribution contracts and lead a competitive acquisition in support of future data distribution systems and the agency's future mission architecture. Art received a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Phoenix and is currently pursing a Master's in Information Systems. Art is certified in both the Scaled Agile and Amazon Web Services community.

Deborah Pollard - Founder, President

Deborah Pollard co-founded Arena Technologies, serves as President, and leads the company's strategic vision, and is a member of the board. Prior to founding Arena, Deborah founded a successful consultancy and served as an Officer in the Air Force. Deborah started her career as a signals intelligence officer, serving in highly classified special programs as a program manager, Director of Operations (DO), and as a unit commander during a remote assignment in the Republic of Korea. She also served as a professor at the United States Air Force Academy in the Department of Political Science where she designed/developed and taught several policy-related courses, including National Space Policy. Later, Deborah led the Office of Direct Military Support at a classified mission facility, ensuring time-sensitive support to joint military and special operations forces. Deborah received her Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy and her Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Doug Satterwhite

Doug Satterwhite joined Arena Technologies in 2015, serving as a Manager and Systems Engineering Technical Advisor in the customer's Ground Enterprise Directorate. Doug is responsible for contract and technical oversight of data distribution contracts for a US Government customer and leads systems testing and deployment activities worldwide. Prior to joining Arena, Doug founded and sold two cybersecurity services and products companies that supported Federal and commercial customers. Doug began his career as a Naval Officer, serving in engineering / acquisition positions which developed and deployed equipment for the Naval Research Laboratory and the NRO. Engineering leadership roles included Satellite Operations Director in Point Mugu, CA, Information Systems Department Head for a Communications Station in Hawaii, and Technical Director of a Joint Services Command in Suffolk, VA. After retiring from the Navy Doug led the development of a Command and Control system for the DoD and then branched out to work in the commercial and Federal government sectors where he helped pioneer new methods of information security and advanced data fusion technologies. Doug received his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School. John Harvey

John Harvey joined Arena Technologies in 2020 as an IT Acquisitions Technical Advisor for a U.S. Government client. John manages our Manchester subcontract, as well as currently leads the client's Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) program, preforms contract oversight, and provides end to end acquisition support. John oversees requirements development, scope, risk, and performance management for a global portfolio of mission support activities. John's experience includes over 30 years in the Intelligence Community, as both a member of industry and in the military. John began his career as a U.S. Navy Cryptologic Linguist with assignments to national agencies, Naval Security Group locations, and overseas. Following his military service John joined industry, leading numerous classified activities, special studies, information collection efforts, and acquisitions supporting government interests. He has experience in collection systems development, testing, program management, and technical leadership for a wide range of activities. John's business unit management experience includes administration and management of local office operations for a large private non-profit applied science and technology development company supporting government clients world-wide. John received his Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College. He is a NCMA Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM), PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

John Pollard - CEO, Founder

John Pollard co-founded Arena Technologies and leads its staff in providing trusted advisory service across all five service areas (Acquisition, Business, Technical, Strategic, and Change Management). Prior to founding Arena in 2003, John held leadership positions in two successful start-ups, as well as other emerging and established defense companies. John's leadership and technical expertise seamlessly bridges government and industry, both in the defense/intelligence and commercial telecommunications markets. His past experience includes leading professional service operations as the Executive Vice President of a commercial telecommunications service provider consultancy, serving as General Manager for a defense and intelligence SETA, and providing subject matter expertise as a Senior Systems Engineer. Prior to his industry career, John served as an Air Force Officer and unit commander, in support of cyber, intelligence, information operations, and other classified activities including deployed special technical operations during Operation DESERT STORM. John received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Syracuse University, a Master's degree in Information Systems, and his MBA from the University of Colorado.

Leo Lombardo

Leo Lombardo joined Arena Technologies in 2019 as a Manager and an IT Acquisition Advisor in the CIO/Communications Directorate for the company's largest client. In this role, Leo is responsible for IT acquisition lifecycle functions, to include developing acquisition strategies and plans, developing and reviewing acquisition support documents, supporting source selection activities, and contributing to contract program management. He also fills an essential role supporting the Government with both contract transitions and administration, and performance management activities. Leo began his career as a Contract Specialist in the United States Air Force. Over the course of his 20+ year career, Leo held numerous Contracting Officer warrants of varying thresholds. He supported the Air Force at multiple military bases earning several awards, including Pacific Air Forces Contracting Specialist of the Year. He worked in Special Program Offices while assigned to support the Intelligence Community and, since his retirement, continues to support the IC having provide senior acquisition strategy support to various IC agencies. Leo received his Bachelor of Science degree from Bellevue University. He holds DAWIA certifications in both Contracting and Purchasing, as well as an NCMA Industry Certification in Contract Management-Defense.

Phi Anh Nguyen

Phi Anh Nguyen joined Arena Technologies in 2020 and serves as a Manager and Technical Advisor in the Communications Directorate for the company's largest client. Phi Anh is responsible for contract and technical oversight of the Web and SharePoint Team supporting the team in the development of the Communications Directorate websites and SharePoint solutions. Designing the web presence for this federal client is paramount to their ongoing success. The information and graphics will be used to showcase, display, and market the true vision of the organization. Phi Anh began her career supporting the Federal Aviation Administration where she provided programmatic support managing the entire project team to complete the project within its planned scope, schedule and budget. Simultaneously serving as a liaison for the project's technical, functional, and non-functional teams. With over 12 years of federal government contracting experience, she specializes in SharePoint Development as well as Program Management supporting many federal clients. Phi Anh received her Bachelor of Science, Business Administration and Management degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University. Phi Anh is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) for IT Service Management (ITSM).
