David Ferguson received his Bachelor of Arts in Business in 1975, and graduated from Osgoode Hall at York University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Laws. He has been practicing law for over 30 years and his practice has evolved to the point where he now practices primarily in the areas of real estate law, corporate commercial, wills and estates, and he does this in a meticulous and cost-effective manner.
Matthew Marshall was born and raised in Haldimand County. He attended the University of Ottawa to pursue a bachelor's in Economics and Social Sciences, and studied law at the University of New Brunswick. He was called to the bar in June of 2022.
Throughout law school, Matt took interest in legal history, litigation, and conflicts arising between innovators and regulatory bodies. He is dedicated to serving his clients and the Haldimand-Norfolk community to the best of his abilities.
Matt's focus is on Estate Planning, Wills and Powers of Attorney and Real Estate purchases and sales for our clients.
Ralph Benedict (retired) is a graduate of University of Western Ontario and was called to the Bar in 1985. He opened the Caledonia office in 1986 and has been practicing law for over 35 years. His practice areas are Real Estate, Wills, Estate and Corporations. He continues to work within the firm on a day-to-day basis in winding up his practice and assisting in directing existing and new clients
David Marshall has over a decade of experience practicing law. He has appeared before various tribunals and all levels of court in Ontario. His clients include both institutional and municipal clients and all manner of individual litigants. David has also acted as agent-counsel to the Toronto Local Appeal Body and has in-depth experience in administrative law.
He is also the President of the Haldimand Law Association and maintains membership in multiple professional organizations, including both the Ontario and Canadian Bar Association.
While David is lead counsel with our sister-firm, The Marshall Law Group, with Benedict Ferguson & Marshall he concentrates on Real Estate, Estate Planning, wills and powers of attorney for existing and new clients.
