Aimee E. Kaloyares

Aimee is a trial attorney practicing in the areas of family, criminal and juvenile law. She has handled criminal law trials and appeals, family law trials, mediations and hearings as well as several juvenile felony court trials, DCFS parent representation and juvenile misdemeanors. Aimee grew up in rural Maine before pursing her undergraduate degree from Cazenovia College in Syracuse, New York in 2011 and her Juris Doctorate degree in the law from Southern University, here in Baton Rouge Louisiana in 2015. During her time at Southern University she was a member of Moot Court, Law Review and of Phi Alpha Delta. Aimee is the author of the 2011 publication in the Criminal Law Section of the California State Bar entitled, "Sex Offenders: The Modern Day Scarlet Letter", and of the book "Annie Get Your Gun? An Analysis of Reactionary Gun Control Laws and Their Utter Failure to Protect Americans From Violent Gun Crimes" available on Amazon. These publications, though controversial, reflect Aimee's desire for the law to better serve the people, and for the people to one day have better laws. Aimee has served as a juvenile public defender in Ascension Parish for the past three years, dedicating her abilities to the criminal defense of children because she strongly believes in public service and that children deserve a better future. Aimee prides herself on seeking the best outcome possible for her clients who may be going through the worst times of their lives.

Angela B. Carlisle

I'm an attorney at Big River Trial Attorneys, and a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. I strive to listen to gain an understanding of the needs of my clients in order to help them achieve the outcomes they desire in their legal matters. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Louisiana Tech University in 2002 and earned a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Civil Law from Louisiana State University Law Center in 2005. Prior to joining Big River Trial Attorneys, I worked for the law firm of Dodson, Hooks & Frederick, primarily with personal injury clients but also working closely defending one particular insurance carrier represented by our firm. I later worked for the State of Louisiana in Legal Affairs for the Department of Public Safety and have performed contract work for other attorneys in the Baton Rouge area in various matters. I am married with two amazing children and enjoy travelling, reading, cooking, and volunteering at my children's school.

I'm a legal assistant with Big River Trial Attorneys. I am committed to ensuring our clients are met with kindness and respect. I strive to work as efficiently and qualitatively as possible, so our clients' cases are managed with the utmost respect they deserve. I am currently an undergraduate student at Missouri Southern State University online for my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I graduated high school with an associates degree in General Studies, though all of my electives were political theory, psychology, and criminal justice classes. Prior to working for Big River Trial Attorneys, I was an estimator for a small insulation company, which is where I gained most of my expertise in Microsoft Windows. I had previously interned for Fleischaker & Williams LLC, handling criminal and civil cases, and learning more about law. My ultimate goal is to become a corporate attorney, something I've been striving for since I was young. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my dog, spending time with my family, and playing basketball.
