Starting in Oct of 2022, Clark Morber brings a skill set of financial expertise and knowledge to Bair Shakes, and draws from his experience and dedication toward helping grow Blair Shakes to its full potential. He runs an investment portfolio and wealth management business in his spare time, and is the perfect choice to manage Blair Shakes monetary business.
As CFO, Clark is responsible for all of the company's financial functions, including monetary management, accounting and corporate finance.
After graduation David moved to DC and earned a master's degree in International Conflict Resolution from American University, with a focus on Middle East studies. For several years thereafter, he worked on internationally oriented programs for DC schools, exposing students to a more global education experience. Since earning his teaching credentials in 2008, David taught both Big History and A.P. World History within the history department at Skyline High School in Oakland, California. David loves helping students figure out the puzzle of historical studies, by making learning a ton of fun and by considering the profound connections between the past and their reality today. Back on the island after many years away, David is pleased to cultivate his own family (a wife and two girls) here in a place that provided him such a solid sense of community.
As Board Chair David's is responsible for leading the Board and focusing it on strategic matters, overseeing the Group's business and setting high governance standards. He plays a pivotal role in fostering the effectiveness of the Board and individual Directors, both inside and outside the board room.
As the founder of Blair Shakes, Joah Blair brings a new pallet of Ideas. Joah is a big fan of the outdoors and likes to bike and hike all around the beautiful Bainbridge trails. His mission is to bring Blair Shakes to its full capacity while still maintaining the quality it takes to make a milkshake. Joah founded Blair Shakes on the principals still maintained today, Quality, Handcrafted, Inexpensive.
As CEO, Joah is responsible for protecting and nurturing the principals as well as growing Blair Shakes in a better way.
