Ms. Baker has worked in the field of public service for many years: Secretary for the School District of Philadelphia, and Paralegal for Litigation Attorneys. She is the proud mother of two sons and five grandchildren. Ms. Baker is pursuing an Associate Degree in Health Care Administration. Her desire to travel and provide wholesale travel for others lent itself to her operating a home based travel business - Starr Journey Travel.

is the founder and CEO of Bridge the Gap Learning Systems, Inc., a 501 C3 Corporation (Corporation). With over 25 years of teaching experience, she is recognized as a provider of innovative learning tools. Mrs. Flanders worked with the YWCA, Heavenly Hall, Christ of Calvary Covenant Church's Covenant Catechism Academy and its Covenant Leadership Academy & Preschool and To Our Children's Future with Health to provide many effective learning environments. The founder's Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education allowed her to teach in many schools for the School District of Philadelphia. Her last tenure of 7 years was in a Charter School. She also taught in schools in Chester, PA and 2 years in Williamstown, NJ. Mrs. Flanders has the distinction of teaching students older than herself and as young as 6 months of age in a preschool setting. Her Certificate inMontessori Methodology from Chestnut Hill College added to her style of preschool classroom management. (Temple University, 1979/Chestnut Hill College, 1982) In 2001 and in 2003 Mrs. Flanders applied to the State of Pennsylvania to establish "Bridge the Gap Learning Systems Charter School." The political climate at that time did not allow the "Special Needs" school to come into existence. During those two years, Mrs. Flanders prepared herself to be the assistant principal of the school receiving her "Master of Administration in Education from Cheyney University in 2003. She went on to create other initiatives to help special needs children. During the corona virus crisis, the Corporation's CEO, along with the board of directors, converted most of its programs and projects into a virtual format; this, no doubt, will prove to be an asset in the Corporation's reservoir of tools to grow and return to some state of normalcy. Following her own philosophy of always being a student, she is presently a student of Evangel's Entrepreneurship Course to sharpen her business skills and improve her tactics in operating "Paradise Journey Travel" - a home based travel business she established in 2016. of Bridge the Gap Learning Systems, Inc., a 501C3 Corporation. She developed her passion and compassion to educate youth over thirty years ago while serving as an assistant to a child psychologist at Head-Start.

Rev. Calvin B. Rooks

was born on September 7, 1962 in Franklin, VA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben and Mary Rooks. As a child he was kept in the house of God by his grandmother and was made a lead singer of the Galilee Baptist Church Male Chorus at the tender age of ten. Even at that young age, the calling he had upon his life for ministry/preaching was noted by the leaders of the Youth Ministry. At the age of sixteen, he graduated from Southampton Senior High School with honors and was accepted to Virginia State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. In January 1994, Calvin joined Christ of Calvary Church in Philadelphia, PA with his former wife Angela Rooks, (who preceded him in death in 1998). His journey to his growth in Christ was fostered by the mentorship of the founding Pastor Abner Fortson (whom God called home in 2005) and continued under now senior Pastor Dr. Rodney D. Rogers (now Christ of Calvary Covenant Church Ministries International). He has operated in multiple capacities of service which has included mentorship and Youth Pastor for over 10 years (2005-2016) along with his current wife Rev. Eleanor Rooks. During this time he attended and graduated from the Melvin Floyd School of Evangelism in 2003, completed the CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) Chaplaincy program at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania 2009, and obtained his M.Div. in Congregational Ministry from Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2014. He has since been elevated to level of ordained Elder and made Associate Pastor of Evangelism at C.O.C.C.M.I. He also serves as full time Chaplain of the Phila. Juvenile Justice Service Center and as council president of "God's Mighty Men" Men's ministry. He is married to Rev. Eleanor L. Rooks since 2000 and has 6 children and 7 grandchildren. They reside in Lansdowne, PA.
