Adelaide James

Adelaide grew up in Atlanta, GA. She is currently enrolled in Gwinnett Technical College's Veterinary Technician Program to become a registered veterinary technician. A special interest of hers is wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. She hopes to one day pursue a career in in wildlife conservation. In her spare time, Adelaide enjoys spending time with her dog Fitz, and distance roller blading.

Brittany Schiffer

  • Veterinary Assistant
Brittany has been with Brookhaven Animal Hospital for the past four years and works as a Veterinary Assistant and Inventory Manager. Brittany received her bachelors in Animal Science from the University of Georgia and was apart of their Pre-Veterinary program. When Brittany is not at work she is working on her veterinary school applications or spending time with her dog, Maui.

Dr. Corinne Dillard

Dr. Corinne Dillard grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Atlanta in 2011 to attend Emory University and swim for their varsity swim team. She graduated from Emory University with a degree in psychology. She then obtained her DVM degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!!). Her special interests include surgery and internal medicine. In her free time, Dr. Dillard enjoys spending time with her husband, Will, and their dog, Finley.

Dr. Erin Horner

Dr. Erin Horner grew up in the Atlanta area and is a graduate of Marist High School. She graduated in 2004 from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) where she rode for the NCAA Varsity Equestrian Team. Dr. Horner then continued on to UGA and earned her DVM in 2008. She has a special interest in animal rescue and geriatric medicine. In her free time, Dr. Horner enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband Jon, son Luke and her menagerie of animals: Reese, Champ, Sammy, and Ninja.

Dr. Gayatri Dhavan

Dr. Gayatri Dhavan recently moved to Atlanta from New York City where she worked for a busy small animal general practice. She received her DVM from University of Pennsylvania in 2013 and finished a 1 year intensive internship at VERG in Brooklyn in 2014. She also worked for CNN as a journalist for several years before deciding to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine. Her interests include Internal Medicine, Neurology, Emergency and anything to do with feline medicine! When she is not working, she enjoys reading, scuba diving and watching movies with her husband Adam, son, Harrison and extremely handsome cat- Oreo.

Dr. Kate Izlar

Dr. Izlar grew up in Memphis, Tennessee but was originally born in Atlanta. She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Animal Sciences in 2011, the same year the Auburn Tigers won the National Championship (War Eagle!). She then attained her DVM degree from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2015. Her special interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and ultrasonography. She loves spending time with her husband, David, her two children, Wright and Julia, her two dogs, Doc and Pepper, and her cat, McStuffins. She enjoys anything involving family, Auburn football, snow skiing, fly fishing, and good food and wine!

Dr. Zak Vrono

Dr. Vrono grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Riverwood High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Georgia in 2006. Dr. Vrono graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. His professional interests include internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Vrono shares his home with his wife, their son, and their dog, Vicki. In his free time, Dr. Vrono enjoys spending time with friends and family, fly fishing and spending time outdoors.

Taylor Ashendorf

  • Veterinary Technician
Taylor was born and has lived in Atlanta his entire life. He has been a technician for 13 years. Taylor studied accounting at University of North Georgia, but his love of animals and providing the clients and patients the best service and care possible brought him back to the veterinary world. In his spare time, he can be found playing golf, spending time with his black lab, Clayton, or cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Tiffanie McCullough

Tiffanie is the Kennel Manager at Brookhaven Animal Hospital. She's been working with animals in a variety of capacities for more than 8 years. Working with felines specifically has been her main focus - however, dogs hold a special place as well. Tiffany says she loves what she does - particularly being able to provide quality care and compassion while building a long-lasting connection with animals. Tiffanie is a cat mom of two boys named Lenny and Steen, and she enjoys documentaries and taco night. >^••^<
