Our mission is to support the full range of organizations that impact makers by encouraging connections, broadly sharing resources, facilitating funding opportunities, engaging in policy development, and advocating for the maker movement. We help maker organizations amplify the passion, innovation, creativity, and diversity of the maker community, to maximize both local and global impact... The Field Collaborative was created after our organizations (Fab Foundation, Maker Ed, Digital Promise, Citizen Schools, Nation of Makers, and Fab Learn) recognized our shared priorities around maker and digital fabrication education. Through a series of meetings, convenings and workshops, we seek to explore the challenges related to creating inclusive and equitable high-quality STEM learning environments through maker and digital fabrication education.
