The project includes the replacement of roughly 6.5 miles of old and undersized watermain pipes in the Village of Dansville. Many of the Village's watermains are more than 110 years old and/or are small and insufficient to support the needs of a growing community. These watermain pipes are 4 inches in size and will be replaced by new mains that are either 8 or 12 inches in size and made of PVC pipe.
