Andrew Triantaphyllou is the Senior Manager of Design for Additive Manufacturing at the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing at the UK Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry. Professor Alain Bernard is a pioneer of Additive Manufacturing. In 1991, he created "le CREATE" one of the first centres of competence in France in Rapid Prototyping. Since 1994, he is the Vice President of the French Association of Rapid Prototyping (AFPR), today France Additive, and he is a member of the Global Alliance of Rapid Prototyping Associations. He is also a scientific adviser at the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. In 2009, he was awarded the "Academic Career Award" by the Rapid Prototyping international community at the VRAP conference in Leira, Portugal. He published many books and more than 350 papers in conferences proceedings and in indexed peer-review journals. He is associate editor of RPJ (Rapid Prototyping Journal), VPP (Virtual and Physical Prototyping), CIRP JMST(CIRP Journal of Manufacturing Science and Technology) and member of the editorial board of several other international journals. He is expert for national and european agencies as well as many universities over the World. He is Fellow member of CIRP and coordinator of the Collaborative Working Group on Additive Manufacturing. He is also member of the National Academy of Technologies of France.

Allan is a Professor of Manufacturing Engineering at Lancaster University and Director of the Lancaster Product Development Unit within the Engineering Department. His interests are widespread in the area of additive manufacturing, a field he has been involved in since 1995, particularly related to design and industrial applications of the technology. Allan has secured and with colleagues at Lancaster is currently delivering, a portfolio of externally funded projects with partners and collaborators in the UK and overseas. Allan is currently a Professor in Manufacturing Engineering at Lancaster University, and Director of the Lancaster Product Development Unit which he established in 2002. He has been an active researcher in additive manufacturing since 1995, which includes nearly seven years in the additive manufacturing industry with CRDM Ltd. Allan's research interests are widespread within this technology domain, but with a particular bias towards industrial uptake and utilisation, supported since 2002 with c.£20M+ of research and enterprise funding from a range of UK and international sources. He holds Editorial posts with the Rapid Prototyping Journal (Emerald) and the International Journal of Rapid Manufacturing (Inderscience). Professor Dinusha Mendis is Professor of Intellectual Property and Innovation Law and Co-Director of the Centre for Intellectual Property Policy and Management (CIPPM). Dinusha's research includes exploring the challenges to IP/copyright law as a result of emerging technologies and in this context, she has conducted extensive funded and collaborative research on the IP implications of new and emerging technologies such as 3D printing, AI and blockchain. In 2015, Dinusha completed the first commissioned project on IP implications of 3D printing for the UK Intellectual Property Office which was followed by a funded project for the AHRC in 2017 focusing on 3D printing and scanning of ancient and modern jewellery. In 2018, Dinusha was commissioned by the European Commission to explore the IP implications of Industrial 3D Printing which was completed in April 2020. Her book titled ‘3D Printing and Beyond: Intellectual Property and Regulation' co-edited with Professor Mark Lemley (Stanford, USA) and Professor Matthew Rimmer (QUT, Australia) was published by Edward Elgar in 2019. At present, Dinusha is the Deputy Dean for Research and Professional Practice (appointed March 2020) in the Faculty of Media and Communication and is the Founding Member and Editor-in-Chief of the Bournemouth University Law Review (BULR). She was Head of Research (Law) (2017-2019).
