Dr. Paul Leadem is an experienced, board certified Pediatrician who has practiced in North Florida for 12 years. He attended Pennsylvania State University and completed his Pediatric Training at one of the premier Children's Hospitals in the nation, Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. His special areas of interest include asthma and ADHD, in addition to General Pediatrics. Dr. Leadem has four children and five grandchildren.
Erika was born in Kansas City and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended the University of Florida where she graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Upon graduating, Erika moved back to Atlanta where she worked as a pediatric nurse for 2 years. She then moved to Washington, D.C. and graduated from Georgetown University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Missing the Florida warmth and way of life, Erika returned to the sunshine state, settling in Jacksonville, where she could be close to the coast and a short drive away from watching her Gators play football. Erika is highly dedicated to fitness, health, and wellness. She strongly believes in incorporating this passion into her practice, and places an emphasis on educating parents and patients on how children can make healthy choices, stay active, and thrive.
Gabby was born in South Florida and spent six years growing up in England before moving back to her hometown. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. She took a year off to work in the ER to gain experience in the medical field before obtaining her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program from Nova Southeastern University in Jacksonville. She has always loved working with kids and now it is her goal to provide the best possible care and advice to ensure that she is helping raise the most healthy and happy future generation Her and her fiancé are High School sweethearts and are looking forward to getting married. In her spare time, she loves to travel and hike.
Dr. Ruiz grew up in Puerto Rico and received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Mental Health from the University of Puerto Rico in 2007. She completed a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and a certificate in Couples and Family Therapy from the Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico in 2013 and has over three years of postdoctoral experience in Assessment and diagnose of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disorders, Anxiety and Depression, among other mental health disorders in the pediatric population. Dr. Ruiz has extensive training evidence-based therapy models such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Applied Behavioral Analysis. She speaks fluent English and Spanish and her greatest passion is helping others achieve their best quality of life.
Dr. Byra is a native of Florida, but relatively new to the Jacksonville area. She grew up in Tampa and studied at the University of Miami, where she received her BA in Science. Dr. Byra attended medical school at the University of South Florida and stayed there for her residency in Pediatrics. She later graduated from the USF Pediatrics program and successfully passed her board exams. Dr. Byra met her husband in medical school, and they moved here together in July of 2013 after he accepted a position as a radiologist at St. Vincent's in Jacksonville. Dr. Byra loves being a Pediatrician being able to keep children healthy as she watches them grow up.

Dr. Vann is a postdoctoral fellow in Pediatric Psychology at Angel Kids Pediatrics. She grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Applied Developmental Psychology. Dr. Vann then attended the University of South Alabama where she obtained both her M.S. in Applied Psychology and Ph.D. in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. Her dissertation focused on parent-child agreement on measures of health-related quality of life in pediatric patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Vann completed her pre-doctoral internship at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following the completion of her training, she relocated to Jacksonville, Florida and started her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology. She feels passionate about promoting integrated behavioral health in pediatric primary care and helping families lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach with her husband and dog, traveling, and making fitness fun!
Dr. Krish is a Jacksonville native. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at the University of Florida and later received her medical degree at St. George's University. She went on to complete her residency training in Pediatrics at UMDNJ in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Krish moved back to Jacksonville with her husband and two daughters to raise them near the rest of her family. Her husband is a local Nephrologist with a private group clinic for kidney disease. She loves working with children and getting to know the families of each patient on a personal level, and enjoys watching her patients grown into beautiful, healthy, and amazing little adults!
Tomi grew up in a small town in western Michigan. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience. She completed her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies in Chicago at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Her husband's naval career took them to San Diego, and then to Jacksonville. She loves working with children, and looks forward to helping families be as healthy and as happy as possible.
