Chloe is a miniature Australian Shepherd, born on a cotton farm in Texas in 2012 where she was later adopted by her mom, Dr. Smith. Chloe enjoys coming to the office once per week where she works by greeting the patients and providing cuddles as requested. When not at work, Chloe enjoys playing fetch, taking long walks, and having fun with her four-legged friends at Happy Tails in Spring Hill. If interested in visiting with Chloe, please mention so at the time of scheduling to ensure she is here on the day of your appointment.
Originally from Rhode Island, Dr. Smith first became interested in hearing health after completing coursework for her Bachelor's degree in Communication Science Disorders at the University of Rhode Island. While there, she completed an internship at Rhode Island Hospital, the teaching hospital for Brown University. During her undergraduate training she was introduced to electrophysiological and vestibular testing such as Auditory Brainstem Response testing (ABR), and Video Nystagmography (VNG) as well as observing cochlear implant surgeries and assisting with inter-operative monitoring. After completing her Bachelor's degree, Dr. Smith was accepted into the Doctor of Audiology program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. While studying in Texas she worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, school systems, ENT clinics, and private hearing aid practices. Dr. Smith graduated from Texas Tech in 2016 after completing her clinical residency in Rochester, New York, and specializes in adult hearing aid fittings and patient advocacy. Recognized as one of the nation's leading adult amplification specialists by hearing aid manufacturers and industry consultants, she works with all major hearing aid brands and is cross-trained on the widest selection of hearing aids. In her personal time, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her miniature Australian Shepherd, Chloe, and traveling the world with the goal of eventually visiting every continent (5 down, 2 to go!)

Janell was raised in New Port Richey and after she got married she moved to Mexico City, Mexico and Louisville, Kentucky. After many years away from home, she moved back with her husband and 3 kids. If she's not at home baking, you will usually find her at the soccer fields cheering on her kids or watching her oldest son in a theater production. When there is some free time she loves to find deals and travel!

Taylor is originally from Long Island, New York. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies. She is also a personal trainer and a marathon runner. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking and playing with her Australian Shepherd, Koda.
