RSVP is a national and international volunteer program that matches interests, skills and talents of individuals aged 55 and older in volunteer service roles to help meet significant community needs. RSVP was established under the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973. Locally, RSVP has been serving Ford County and the surrounding area since 1974. Our program has nearly 300 dedicated men and women who contribute more than 50,000 volunteer hours a year... Ford County RSVP serves as a clearing house for Ford County residents who have the desire to volunteer and MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Local agencies have needs that are going unmet because of funding cuts and lack of employees. Through the efforts of the Ford County RSVP, those needs can be fulfilled by qualified volunteers... Began in 1935, DC3 focused on providing opportunities for higher education at an affordable price in an accessible location.
