Gina Seale-Simms was born in Trinidad W.I. on June 8, 1976 and moved to the USA in May 1995 to start a new life. She attended the University of Miami and transferred to the University of Houston, graduating with a degree in biology with honors. Gina went on to teach high school biology and then obtained her second bachelors, in nursing. She worked at Methodist Hospital in Houston caring for heart patients. She loved to help sick people and her patients loved her. On January 6, 2016, Gina Seale-Simms's husband took her life and then his own. The only child of Gina Seale-Simms, our National Spokesperson, founded the Gina Seale-Simms Foundation in honor of her name to support the children whose lives are forever changed from the loss of a parent. The Foundation's mission is to provide support to children who have lost their parents due to domestic violence.
