Dementia is a syndrome (a group of related symptoms) associated with an ongoing decline of brain function... This may include problems with: impairment of memory and cognitive function such as memory; recalling; thinking speed; mental sharpness and understanding; judgement; mood movement, as well as difficulties carrying out daily activities. There are many different causes of dementia. This affects all aspects of personality, behaviour and conduct. The care service we provide is very flexible and is based on awareness that each individual has the right to be loved, listened to, understood and respected.
