Welcome to my online portfolio. The navigation is at the top. The emphasis of my portfolio is on the theory that I believe makes for sound instructional design. This portfolio also reflects my philosophy about instructional technology. I come from a seasoned instructor's perspective. I believe that creative instructional design and instructional technology need to be introduced to faculty not as something intimidating, but as something familiar, affordable, and easy to use. If instructors and content matter experts are not intimidated and overwhelmed by good instructional design and appropriate instructional technology, they will see how much fun it is to use. It is my belief that they will then be more engaged with the over all instructional design process. However, accessible and affordable should not be equated with low quality. The standards are the same whether it is created on a small budget or with unlimited funds.
