There are plenty of options out there for personal defense training, and most facilities offer a fairly standardized curriculum. What sets A/TaC apart is our ability to customize training to fit the specific needs and circumstances of our clients. Oftentimes trainers make the mistake of pressuring students to adopt the trainer's own preferred weapon system or defensive method, rather than helping students determine what would work best for them. For example, people with young children at home would need a different defensive plan than those who live alone. Someone with a physical limitation or disability might have different personal defense needs than an avid athlete would. And of course, not everyone can always carry a gun.
